Research and professional experience

Aleksandra Zh. Zhelyazkova is an assistant professor at the Institute of Electronics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Her M.S. degree is in Medical physics at the Faculty of Physics, University of Sofia “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She is a co-author of several research articles. Her research interests are in the field of biophotonics, femtosecond processing, and tissue engineering. Her work was awarded with best poster „Femtosecond laser surface texturing of 3D poly-ε-caprolactone matrices for bones tissue engineering applications” from Twentieth International Summer School On Vacuum, Electron And Ion Technologies, 25-29 Sept. 2017, Sozopol, Bulgaria.
